Thriving in a Pixelated World: How to Extract and Embrace the Good in Our Digitized Culture
Lauren Roach
Thurs., January 23 at 7:00pm

"An overwhelming 99% of U.S. households now subscribe to at least one or more streaming services," Forbes reports. I am among that crew, and you probably are too. Media is an integral part of modern culture and art, so how do we integrate this reality into our lives as Christians? This talk gives Catholics the vision to see media as a force for good and the tools they need to transform our culture within their everyday lives.

Be sure to save the date for our future speakers!

Let's Read!
Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 10AM

Let’s read! It’s been said that books “encourage, enlighten, and motivate us to dive deeper into the plots of our own lives.” We are going to discuss the books that have encouraged you to do just that!

Whether you are a reader or not, join us for a lively discussion. This dynamic group is open to women, looking to learn new life skills and make new friends.

Welcome to Evergreen 55+, an event series designed exclusively for women aged 55 and older who believe in slowing down for the important things in life. This series is dedicated to bringing pizazz into this new chapter of life through the exploration of new and old friendships, shared hobbies, the joys of grandchildren, the complexities of adult children, and the pursuit of different interests.

At Evergreen 55+, we believe that one is never too old to live out their dreams, whether it's starting a small business, embracing a new hobby, or delving into the pages of a fun book.

The series features occasional speakers covering topics such as nutrition, exercise, travel, book reviews, navigating family life, overcoming losses, and accentuating the positive aspects of aging. We emphasize an interactive environment, where attendees are encouraged to be active participants rather than passive listeners.
